This integrated pathway is a two and a half year full-time programme of study leading to an award of Master of Science (MSc) degree. The course consists of an initial one year undergraduate study at level 6. This is equivalent to the final year of Bachelor of Science degree, and it is integrated with eighteen months of postgraduate study at level 7 (Master's level). That is, if you successfully achieve the progression requirements after the initial year, you will automatically go on to the full-time eighteen months master's level.
This course has been developed to equip you with the advanced skills to function effectively in a professional context within the healthcare sector. On successful completion, you will have gained an internationally recognized qualification.
Coursework
Coursework assignments include essays, critical reviews, practical research reports, and presentations. Assessments all modules are tutor assessed with a wide range of different assessment methods, and a balance of coursework and examinations.
Career Progression
Following successful completion of the course, candidates with prior registration with a professional body such as NMC and HPC may progress to become Advanced Practitioners in their respective fields.
Candidates without such prior professional membership may complete an additional 12 months postgraduate work-based learning module in Physician Assistants Personal and Professional Development for certification as a Physician Assistant.
Study progression
Following successful completion of the MSc student will also be eligible to apply for a Phil, Professional Doctorate or PhD programme of study.

International students must be qualified nurses or midwifes - ELTS: average score of 6.0 or above (minimum of 5.5 in any component)
